UFSC International Patent Applications (PCT)

The Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) is an international patent law treaty, concluded in 1970. It allows applicants to simultaneously seek patent protection for an invention in various countries by filling one single international patent application. The treaty is administered by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and currently has 157 contracting states.
